Camille Vernet, a documentarian filmmaker has produced a series of videos highlighting a variety of artists in BC. in a documentary series.

One of the featured artists is Jeanne Krabbendam, a mixed media visual artist in Vancouver BC. As her assistant, I was included in the interview. As you watch this video you will get a better understanding of the process that inspires Jeanne and I as we create our mix media art.

Introductory to Mixed Media: Private Studio Classes

Open up your artistic side and discover the wonders of mixed media.

Join me to explore techniques such as photo transfers, gels and mediums and layering; using different types of print material, fabrics, papers, found objects and textures. Learn to blend textures with plasters to build your own unique style of painting.

Private and Semi-Private Classes Available

Available to travel for group workshops or demonstrations.

BC Cultural Days at the SALT WATER STUDIO

Artists Sandra Bowen and Jeanne Krabbendam are hosting a three-day Cultural Days event:

‘Creative Photo Op’

Visitors will be invited to come to the studio and stage their most creative picture, using supplies at the studio such as paintings, palettes, paint, brushes, cover-ups, etc. to post on their social media or use otherwise.

Dates and times:
Fri September 27, 11 am – 7 pm
Sat September 28, 11 am – 7 pm
Sun September 29, 12 pm – 6 pm

Come by, get your picture taken, see a selection of latest works by the artists, look around for small art gifts or design products and celebrate Cultural Days at the SALT WATER STUDIO this year!
